In the meantime, Fulham is a surprise package in hunting European football this season. Marco Silva’s men, who are currently ninth place, only five points behind fourth place in Manchester City.
The Cottagers have never won a large trophy and came closest to the finalists in 1975, but they will be hopeful to get out of the competition with some of the country’s largest teams.
