After the game of the National League between Hartlepool United and York City, nine people were arrested on Saturday, March 1st.
During the previous visit to the Prestige Group Stadium in January 2024, four supporters were arrested and three were charged after York lost the game 2-1.
Before the next visit to City in Hartlepool this afternoon, both clubs shared joint statements that asked the supporters to “represent their clubs in the right way”.
Before the agreement, a propagation order was imposed at the Prestige Group Stadium. The officials were published in the stadium, in the city center, in the marina and at the train station.
The police had warned that they could impose football prohibitions on anti -social behavior.
The followers of York were accompanied by a number of uniformed police officers from the Hartlepool train station to the stadium.
However, nine followers, eight York and a hard leap, were arrested.
Two of these arrests had suspected of being drunk and disorganized.
A arrest consisted of suspicion of possession of a pyro and/or a flair.
There was a suspicion that he had tried to enter the football stadium while he was intoxicated.

Four other arrests took place at the train station. The British traffic police were contacted for further information.
The police were also seen how a group of supporters was removed about 15 minutes after the game began.
The match ended with a 1-0 win for York, with Ollie Pearces 40th minute being the only difference in the afternoon.
Both York City and Hartlepool United addressed the press for a comment.
