A TIKTOK trend in which people watch the sunrise at a Beauty spot from Peak District was blamed for the fact that parking was created “chaos”.

Videos that made MAM Tor in the high summit of derbyshire with the orange glow of the morning sunshine, millions of views on the Social Media platform have accumulated.

Hundreds of visitors hike up the Grass Hill every morning to see the view for themselves. At the summit massive film material is waiting for dawn.

While it may have created a new appreciation for the picturesque landscape of the national park, the phenomenon chaos played with parking spaces on the narrow country roads.

In a video recently stood on a Sunday morning from 8 a.m.

The problem has become so bad that the Labor MP Jon Pearce, who represents a high climax, has now written to the Peak District authorities that demand “immediate and determined measures” to tackle the problem, which he said “causes chaos”.

He said: “I understand that many problems we have at the moment is that there is a Tikok madness to see sunrise on Mam Tor, and that caused the highlight of the parking problems that we have at the moment.

“But at least that gave us the heads that we have to be prepared for summer.”

He has suggested solutions such as placing barriers to the core, the increase in fines, better signage and the creation of more public parking spaces before the summer tourist season, the BBC reported.

The police from Derbyshire also warned of dangerous parking spaces after the officials had to close several streets in January, including Winnats Pass and Rushup Edge near Castleton, due to “selfish parking spaces”.

The troop said that it had increased the patrols in problem areas. Videos on Tikkok showed a number of cars that were parked on double yellow lines with parking cards on their windshields.

Almost 2,000 parking letters were exhibited in Rushup Edge last year, according to the local Democracy report.

The police have also warned that dangerous parking will hinder the emergency services after the rescue teams were blocked by cars while trying to react to an injured hiker near Edale in January.

The city councils in Hope Valley have called for an “urgent action plan” after the typing on local roads were blocked due to “parked cars of around 200”.

The derbyshire County Council is now considering placing boulders on both sides near Mam Tor.

However, not only the police and the local authorities are affected, but also visitors.

The 28 -year -old Chelsea Coltart visited Mam Tor on January 18, to see the sunrise after seeing videos on social media, but returned to damage her car and find it with a parking ticket after parked in a NO -stop zone.

She believed that her vehicle was damaged by a large vehicle, trying to happen, and the offer for repair was £ 2,000.

“Following other cars on this day was probably my greatest regret and I will never do it again,” she told the BBC.
